In 2023, we started a new research project the main goal of which is to monitor key indicators of the effectiveness of marketing activities of construction brands among adult residents of Poland.

BCMM Omnibud Brand Index is a research focusing on measuring:

Spontaneous brands awareness index in a given product category
Aided brands awareness index in a given product category
Net Promoter Score index of brands in a given product category (tendency to recommend brands to friends)

Based on these indicators, BCMM created a base model expressing the brand's value, i.e. the BCMM Omnibud Brand Index, which ranges from 0 to 100. The higher the value, the stronger the brand's position measured by its awareness and reputation indicators.

The study enables a precise assessment of the value of a construction brand in the context of direct competition in specific categories of building materials. Additionally, it allows you to compare the brand with other companies operating in various areas of the building and finishing materials industry.

BCMM OMNIBUD BRAND INDEX - sanitary ceramics 2024

The report contains data on the spontaneous and assisted knowledge of sanitary ceramics brands among adult residents of Poland and information on the tendency of consumers to recommend sanitary ceramics brands to their friends (Net Promoter Score method). The level of knowledge and recommendations of selected brands was used to build the summary BCMM Omnibud Brand Index, on the basis of which a ranking of sanitary ceramics brands was created.

In particular, the report covers:

  • spontaneous awareness of 99 brands and names associated with sanitary ceramics
  • assisted awareness of 29 brands of sanitary ceramics
  • Net Promoter Score for selected brands of sanitary ceramics (aided awareness above 5%)

The study was carried out in August 2024 using the CAWI online survey technique on a representative sample of N=1068 women and men aged 18 and over.
